Job Title: Welder / Technician (AMI Process)
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with AMI (Automated Orbital TIG) welding process. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welds using AMI equipment, ensuring precision and adherence to safety standards. This position requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work in a clean room environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate AMI welding equipment to perform orbital TIG welds on various materials (e.g., stainless steel, carbon steel, etc.)
- Set up and calibrate welding parameters according to project specifications
- Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Document work processes and maintain accurate records
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving welding-related issues
Qualifications:
- ITE students or Diploma certificate in Welding or related field
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work in a clean room environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with AMI welding process is a plus
